Stormzy has teamed up with adidas to release a new football boot, the #Merky FC Predator.
Combining the instantly recognisable black and yellow of #Merky FC, with reflective elements that “shine a light on the legacy of South London footballers”, the limited-edition boot will be available to buy from the adidas online store, as well as at selected retailers, from Tuesday, May 14th 2024.
Offering a fresh, and unique take on the legendary Predator 24, the #Merky FC edition comes equipped with ‘Control Frame 2.0’ to offer stability and support.
Presented in vibrant colours, and with lightning bolt graphics appearing on their HybridTouch 2.0 uppers to represent the “dynamic way in which this important adidas partnership is changing the game to increase diversity in the football industry”, the boot features at least 20% recycled materials.
Additionally Strikeskin elements and a Controlframe 2.0 outsole ensure your on-field play’s on point too.
Speaking about the boot, Stormzy said: “As someone who has always been a huge football fan it’s always been a dream to have my own boot – especially a Predator.”

The launch of the shoe closely follows the opening of #Merky FC HQ – a multi-purpose centre in Croydon providing opportunities for Londoners across football, music and gaming.
A portion of sales from the boot will go towards helping to support the everyday running of the facility.
