Bradley Smith is a celebrity hairdresser and stylist. Born in Wandsworth, Smith founded Bradley Smith Hair in 2010 and was appointed a member of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing in 2015.
Smith’s clients include Lady Wilnelia Forsyth and Grammy-Award Nominated Artist Craig David. Smith has salons across West London, including Strawberry Hill and most recently at Heathrow Terminal 5 (Bradley Smith Hair Express).
We caught up with Bradley for the latest in our ‘My London’ interview series.
Favorite neighbourhood:
Knightsbridge – what else can you say? It’s bursting with culture and charm which I find hard to ignore. When I am walking past all the luxury stores I feel I’m on another planet. Maybe a Bradley Smith Hair on Kings Road? Never say never.
Favourite place for brunch:
The Big Easy, Kings Road, Chelsea. The food is simple but utterly delicious. If you’re ever in the area, check out the Lobster Roll.
Best coffee in London:
Hard question to answer but as travel between salons I find Café Nero does the trick while on the road.
Favourite gallery or museum:
The National History Museum, I’m fascinated by nature and human origins. I could spend hours wandering but I just don’t have the time as I’m busy working at the salons.

Favorite place to shop:
Hard question. But it must be Harrods. It’s a one stop shop for all my fashion needs.
Best London destination for a date:
The Shard, the view is truly breathtaking at night and gives a different perspective of London. I’ve been a few times now and I’m still impressed.
Favorite park:
Hyde Park – it’s a stunning space, I enjoy a gentle run around the park and passing by Speakers Corner to see what’s going on.
Favourite food market
Spitalfields – what food lover wouldn’t love it? It’s simply heaven, I adore trying different food and finding new recipes I can try at home.
Your sanctuary in the city:
I’m a fitness freak, so any gym I can get my hands on.
What inspires you?
People inspire me, what we can achieve as individuals. I find myself reading business success stories and I want to do the same. I started with nothing and now I have three salons across London, the dream is to expand and be a household name.
