Sustainable helmet brand Dashel is an independent British cycling company at the forefront of the circular economy, with a stylish range of eco-friendly, slim, ventilated and lightweight cycle helmets that are comfortable and supportive for bike riders of all ages.
Having worked closely with the team at Map (the industrial design offshoot of Barber and Osgerby) to perfect and refine its designs, Dashel is committed to producing ‘made to last’ products, with each of the helmets in the various collections sourced from innovative and sustainable materials, ensuring that they are low impact at the point of manufacture, and produce very little waste at the end of life.
Made right here in the UK at a family-run helmet makers in the heart of Cornwall, all items are thoroughly safety tested in all conditions and are certified CE EN1078.
Re-Cycle Helmet

Safe, slim and lightweight, the Re-Cycle Helmet has 5 air vents and comes with 2 sizes of Dashel’s signature range of coolmax pads, which wick sweat and are machine washable, to ensure long-lasting comfort.
Carbon Fibre Helmet

The bold Carbon Fibre helmet is handmade in Cornwall over 2 days. The shell is combined with an innovative eco-friendly Arpro liner that is engineered to last for over 10 years.
Urban Cycle Helmet

The Urban Cycle Helmet is manufactured from recyclable ABS and EPS foam. Dashel will recycle it for you (in return for money off a subsequent purchase) when it’s time for a new one, using its UK supply chain.
