Almost a decade after Prada first launched its Pradasphere at Harrods – a temporary exhibition and café celebrating the brand’s 100 year anniversary – the Italian luxury fashion house is once again recreating one of its favourite concepts, the Prada Caffé.
Open now until the end of 2023, the stylish Caffé (complete with signature Prada inspired interior) will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, small bites and aperitivo.
Visually similar to the Marchesi cafe in Milan, an 18th-century pasticceria also owned by the Prada group, the new caffé pop-up promises to offer visitors a “taste of Milan in Knightsbridge”.
Sharing more details of the eateries chic design, Harrods say in a statement: “The black-and-white chequered flooring, echoes Prada’s iconic monochrome designs, and paves the way to elegant velvet sofas in the season’s pale green, from which guests can admire the floral bas-reliefs that decorate the walls.”
“All the tableware is original and exclusive, and selected by Prada to complement the surroundings: think pale-blue Japanese porcelain with a contrasting double black line and crystal glasses featuring the quintessentially Prada triangle motif.”
The Prada Caffé is open now until January 7th, 2024, 9am – 9pm Monday to Saturday, and 12pm to 6pm on Sundays. Full menu and further details can be found here.
