Gucci designs Fiat 500 for Italian anniversary

Fashion and cars have collided in the most luxurious way possible, with Italian fashion house Gucci lending their name to an iconic car, the Fiat 500, to mark the 150th anniversary of Italy’s unification and Gucci’s 90th birthday. What a present eh? The Special Edition car was customised by Gucci creative director Frida Giannini in partnership with Fiat’s Centro Stile.

The minimal designs features the famous ‘Guiccissima’ stripes on the main bodywork, with small details such as chrome Gucci logos and branded seat covers scattered about. Even the alloys feature the interlocking ‘GG’ symbol the fashion house is famous for.

This car is clearly a must-have for any driving fashionista and takes the phrase ‘fashion statment’ to a new level. Prices for this piece of fashion history start from 17,000 Euros. We’d better get saving…
