We caught up with Josh for the latest in our ‘My London’ series.

Favourite neighbourhood:

Covent Garden – I love walking around here, the restaurants, atmosphere and the buildings are great. Not to mention it was a short walk across from where I used to live!

Favourite place for brunch:

This is a tough one because I am a huge brunch fan. But it’s got to be Chick ‘n’ Sours in Dalston, it is the dream.

Best coffee in London:

Grind & Co. big fan of these places for a quick coffee on the go!

Favourite gallery or museum:

I love the Natural History Museum, its the first place I ever went to in London, so it will always have a special place in my heart!

Tell us a secret:

I don’t drink beer (pathetic I know).

Favourite place to shop:

St. James’s, beautiful street and some great shops & not too busy either!

Favourite place to find inspiration:

I love walking down the river by Big Ben & the Houses of Parliament, especially when the sun is out. It makes me feel alive and very grateful to live in London.

Best London destination for a date:

The West End! Go to a nice bar and restaurant followed by a West End show (oh, and then drink some more after the show too!). Can’t beat it!

Favourite park:

Hyde park!

Favourite food market:

Southbank centre market (especially during Christmas).

Your sanctuary in the city:

Sitting on a bench on the River Thames watching the sun go down and seeing London in the light and then light up at night time.

What inspires you?

Seeing people do good things in the world and seeing people come together! Especially in the current situation, I think it is brilliant when we come together as a nation, no matter what beliefs we each have.

This season I’m loving:

Quizzes on Zoom! Can’t beat that on a Friday night lol!
