Famed fashion journalist André Leon Talley is announced as the new face of UGG.

Having spent the majority of his working life behind the scenes, the super stylish 72-year-old industry icon finally steps out in front of the camera to front the American footwear brands FEEL campaign, an ongoing series highlighting stories of influential personalities about their lives, creative influences and reflections on their work.

For the campaigns accompanying photoshoot, shot on location at André’s home in White Plains, New York, we see the former American Vogue Editor-at-Large serve some serious looks, wearing legacy UGG styles including the Neumel and Tasman slipper, as well as a pair of boots from his own personal collection.

UGG is comfort food for my feet.” Talley says in a press release announcing his involvement in the FEEL series. “It’s intelligent. It’s comfortable and it’s full of style.”

Andrea O’Donnell, President of UGG adds: “André Leon Talley is an inspiration. His story has been told many times, quite rightly, because his achievements are unique and significant. He has been a fan of the UGG brand for some time and we are super-fans of his. Not only did he change the fashion industry and make his mark on modern day culture, but he did so by being unapologetically himself.”
