There’s not long now until the Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony, so naturally it’s time to unveil the official Team GB Olympic opening and closing ceremony looks.
In a short film by Rankin, designer Ben Sherman showcased the uniform that will be worn for the games.
The Team GB opening ceremony look features a classic Harrington jacket in navy with red and white union stripes on the sleeves, a white Oxford button-down shirt and chinos. For the closing ceremony, Ben Sherman has designed navy shorts and a white polo printed with Team GB’s lion’s head on the sleeve and the official Tokyo 2020 badge and Olympic rings on the chest.
Tokyo 2020 is the second Olympic Games that Ben Sherman has worked on, having previously provided tailoring for Athens 2004.
