G-SHOCK and British designer King Nerd announce their collaboration with the launch of the GM-6900GKING-9ER timepiece.
Limited to just 300 pieces worldwide and based on the iconic GM-6900, each watch comes on a custom printed strap and is accompanied by a sticker, a limited hand-signed and numbered print, and bespoke packaging, each featuring the unique artwork of acclaimed artist Johnny Dowell aka ‘King Nerd’.
Compromsing of a gold IP stainless steel bezel and black resin band bearing King Nerd’s iconic style, the GM-6900GKING-9ER stays true to all that a G-SHOCK watch promises – 200m water resistant, shock resistant and robust, with added features including an electro-luminescent backlight, flash alert, countdown timer, alarm, and calendar.
Speaking of the collaboration, King Nerd comments “Working with G-SHOCK has been a secret lifelong dream – it was my first watch! I actually own several now, and I remember from a very young age a friend of mine had one with a transparent strap and from that day I always thought about how amazing it would be to create my own. I always look at the G-SHOCK brand very fondly too because it’s the exact same age as me, I have literally grown up alongside the brand.”
