MITHRIDATE is bringing a distinctly British sensibility to contemporary loungewear with its new Pyjama capsule.
Inspired by 19th-century matching sleep sets, the collection reimagines heritage nightwear for modern wardrobes. Traditionally defined by tailored silhouettes and classic stripes, these timeless design cues have been refreshed for everyday dressing.
The six-piece edit features crisp cotton pyjama sets, relaxed trousers and a shawl-collar robe. Each piece is finished with refined piping and softly structured open collars. Meanwhile, a palette of butter yellow and blue-and-white Oxford stripes adds a sense of understated sophistication while retaining a nostalgic feel.
The standout piece is an embroidered blue-and-white pyjama set decorated with miniature cricket caps and British city names. As a result, the design pays tribute to the heritage of cricket uniforms and traditional school dress codes. Subtle references to Eton College further reinforce the collection’s British influence. At the same time, the playful motifs offer a contemporary take on classic sporting insignia.

About MITHRIDATE
Founded in London in 2018 and now headquartered in Guangzhou, MITHRIDATE operates under CEO Tina Jiang and Creative Director Daniel Fletcher.
The brand has developed a reputation for combining craftsmanship with timeless design. However, it also challenges traditional fashion seasonality through a more fluid and contemporary approach.
Its name references Mithridates VI, the ancient King of Pontus. According to legend, he protected himself against poison by creating his own antidotes. Consequently, this story informs the brand’s ethos of resilience, individuality and creative rule-breaking.
