An unusual mix of stars turned on London’s Regent Street’s Christmas lights yesterday, marking the start of the festive period. Emma Bunton, Matt Cardle, Kelly Clarkson, Ashley Jensen and Bill Nighy all joined hands to illuminate the street in front a huge crowd of fans.
X Factor winner Matt Cardle and American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson treated onlookers to exclusive performances, while Ashley Jensen and Bill Nighy were there to promote new 3D film ‘Arthur Christmas’.
Former Spice Girl and Heart FM radio DJ Emma Bunton took part as the radio station sponsored the event, which finished with a glittering firework display.
