The model, singer and actress Vanessa Paradis has been confirmed as the face of H&M’s Conscious Campaign. The brand’s campaign focuses on an environmentally conscious clothing line through the use of organic cotton and recycled polyester. This stays true to the brand’s existing environmentally friendly ethos.
Vanessa Paradis said, “I like being part of something like the Conscious Collection at H&M. I try my best to shop consciously, and vintage is very much part of my wardrobe,” while adding, “I love the style and it works in an eco-friendly way because I like to use and reuse old clothes.”
H&M are well renowned for the use of celebrity endorsements, and have chosen an ideal figure to front this campaign as she too is passionate about the cause.
It’s anticipated that the Conscious Collection will be on sale in stores and online at the end of March 2013, and that there will be similar ranges designed for men and children.
