Vera Wang opens first European store in London

Vera Wang has at last landed in London, opening her first European store inside designer boutique Browns, running a shop-in-a-shop concept. It has taken over the part of the store which once housed Browns Bridal, transformed into a modern, minimalistic store which mirrors Wang’s LA boutique.

The store space measures up at 1,800 square feet and sits opposite the prestigious Claridges hotel on Mayfair’s Brook Street, stocking Vera Wang’s bestsellers from past seasons, the current collection and a made-to-order service. Until now Wang’s designs had only been stocked at Oxford Street department store Selfridges.

To celebrate the opening Caroline Burstein hosted a dinner at Massimo in the new Corinthia Hotel, with guests including Leighton Meester, Tamara Mellon, Tania Fares, Arthur Becker, and Grauso.
