British lifestyle brand Barbour has unveiled its new luxury womenswear collection Modern Heritage with an accompanying campaign starring founder of Cubicle, Shini Park, Content Creator Amira Khan and Fashion Director at Stylist, Arabella Greenhill.
Positioned as beautifully crafted “investment pieces”, each designed to empower modern women, the AW21 collection sees Barbour embrace its Scottish heritage (albeit with a contemporary spin) and introduce new tartans, Hessian and Hawthorne, which feature throughout.
With a shift towards a more modern aesthetic, the rich colour palette includes dark-plum, bark and military-olive combines with elevated fabrics to create tailored trench coats and quilts, new recycled knitwear, organic jersey, and premium Italian wools.

The collection’s accompanying campaign aims to highlight its versatility, emphasising the importance of fundamental wardrobe basics, and high-low dressing.
In a press release, Barbour’s Head of Womenswear Nicola Brown said: “Modern Heritage reflects the way women spend their time today. With more time spent at home whether it’s for leisure or work, our customers want clothes that are elegant and stylish enough to attend an online meeting but are also comfortable and relaxed. Equally when spending time out of the home, they’re looking for classic investment pieces that are smart, functional and will last for many seasons.”
