Chanel have launched an app designed to help shoppers find a lipstick to match any given shade.
The new Chanel Lipscanner app features a built-in colour scanner that allows customers to find an existing lipstick shade from the brand’s 400-plus collection, by simply scanning shades or pictures using their phone. Once the app has identified the shade, customers can then try it on virtually, using Chanel Try On. Users can also save, or share photos of their virtual makeovers and purchase other branded products via the app.
The luxury French fashion house say in a statement announcing the launch of the app: “The Lipscanner app offers an intuitive, seamless and rapid experience, enabling users to scan any colour and visualise Chanel’s interpretation on themselves.”
